First, let me begin by explaining the blog’s title. The names are our trail names concocted during an overnight backpacking trip in the Pemigewassett wilderness in New Hampshire’s White Mountains. Cool Cadence (Jamie) for always keeping a good pace and rhythm on the trail; SlugBug (Bijan) because I inadvertently smushed a juicy slug all over a tree when I grabbed it, resulting in a gooey hand for the day’s hike; And Muddy Paws (Charley) because, well, isn’t it obvious?

In creating this blog, we hope to keep our friends and family in the loop as to our activities and whereabouts during our travel nurse adventures. If it inspires anyone to travel or see and do new things, that would definitely be another plus! This is our first crack at a blog, so take it easy on us and any comments or suggestions are welcome and appreciated!
